WHere is a simplified interpretation of a drink from a new cocktail list. Designed as a party-sized prepared mix that's packed with flavours associated with holiday season, which makes it ideal for your holiday party. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup you can use for breakfast cocktails, puddings, or to mix more rounds of bikinis.
The Bikini Cocktail
Yields 10 servings
To make the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
To make the Drink (makes 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (as made above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Method
To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Combine every ingredients inside a saucepan, bring to a simmer, mixing to dissolve. Then, remove from the stove and let it to cool down entirely. Pour into a sterilised bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, it will last for around four weeks.
For the Batch Mix: Combine the specified liquids into a large bottle, let it rest for one hour, then filter it preferably using a fine cloth, making it perfectly clear.
For serving: Add 85ml from the cocktail base into your stirring glass packed with ice, gently stirring gently for a minute to cool it down. Pour into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, decorate with some cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz of the essential oil over the top.
